INTRODUCTION
I’m Alexis. The Co-Founder of Pretty Strong Cosmetics and Skincare. I’d like to tell you the story of a Pretty Strong woman; my mom Lori.
In the extraordinary tapestry of Lori's life, resilience has become the defining thread. A woman of unwavering strength, Lori has faced trials that would test the mettle of the strongest souls. While steadfastly supporting Alexis through arduous leukemia treatments, Lori faced
the extraordinary challenge of maintaining normalcy for her family, which included raising two other children. Her days were a delicate balance of nurturing her ailing daughter, ensuring the well-being of her other children, working full time and creating an environment where semblances of everyday life persisted amidst the storm.
Yet, as fate would have it, Lori herself became intimately acquainted with the relentless
adversary of cancer—not once, not twice, but three times. Her battles were not
mere skirmishes; they were epic confrontations with an unyielding foe. Each
time, Lori confronted the diagnosis with a resilience that became her hallmark,
a beacon of strength for her loved ones.
